-
Your kettle, favourite tea and a mug you love.

This moment was created by Sarah Lockwood. It draws on the rich language of rest by John O’Donahue who urges us all to ‘be excessively gentle with yourself.’
It is performed by Grandmother Teaote Davies with music by Zoë Barry.

With your feet on the ground, stand in front of your
kettle and press play.

I would try to carve out tiny moments for myself when my babies were young. Putting on eye cream each night became a gift to myself, a reminder that I was worth that moment. And cups of tea to mark the rhythm of the day - they became an anchor in my world, a moment of grounding.
